The second Alpha Course for 2012 held at the Oratory in B’Kara has recently come to a close.
To mark this experience, a celebration supper was held on the 13th December, and invited were the participants of the course, as well as guests and individuals wishing to know more about Alpha and the courses on offer. Over 90 individuals were treated to a home made sumptuous four course meal, a ‘teaser’ dvd of a typical session of the course was shown, and some participants shared their experience of the last course.
The Alpha course has been successfully held in Malta over the last 15 years, and has attracted people from all walks of life. During 2012, approximately 150 people attended the two Alpha courses held at the Oratory.
Worldwide, over 20 million people have now attended Alpha courses, held in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.
Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in an informal and relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions. The next course is planned to start in the last week of September 2013. Look out for more updates in our website.
